Floating Clouds is a light based tabletop interactive installation. A human is like a cloud. Even when you’re floating in mid-air all by yourself, you have already projected a large shadow on the earth.
Humans are, by nature, social animals. As long as we exist, we’re making connections with others one way or another, unable to prevail all alone. It’s just like how I sometimes feel like I’m the only cloud in the sky, floating in mid-air all by myself; however, as lights shine through, a shadow lingers on the earth, transforming as the cloud changes through time. Connected by the lights, the cloud and the land form an invisible link, as are relationships between human beings, even though these connections are easily ignored.Maybe you often feel alone, but you’re never lonely.
